Highly HR-oriented operations
Our operations are based on competence management operating models developed within Efecon Oy in the early 1990s. In support of these, we developed the distinct Oskart competence management software at the turn of the century. Sympa Oy was established on 1 January 2005 in continuation of the software business initiated at Efecon Oy. Today, the Sympa HR system covers HR processes throughout the employment lifecycle.
The Sympa HR Human Resources System was first used in 2005. Today, it is used widely, across various lines of business, by more than 150 organisations and 40,000 users.
Deloitte ranked Sympa Oy 9th in its 2011 Technology Fast 50 Finland listing and 154th in EMEA Technology Fast 500. On November 2011 Sympa Oy won the INNOFINLAND prize of Päijät-Häme region. Sympa is also Silver-level Microsoft Partner (ISV).

Within a period of five years, in terms of the number of systems delivered, Sympa Oy has become Finland’s market-leading provider of browser-based human resources information systems.
Our aim is to challenge major international operators outside Finland and to grow into a significant system provider within the HR sector, both in Europe and around the world.
